Eastern Policy Review

Editorial policy

Eastern Policy Review aims to make policy questions legible without presenting interpretation as fact. We show what a piece is explaining, where its limits lie and how readers can flag an error.

Accuracy and context

Writers should use clear, checkable wording and distinguish established information from analysis, uncertainty or opinion. Claims should be framed at the level the available material supports; broad regional comparisons should not imply that every place or institution works alike.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for relevance and clarity, not to promise favourable coverage. A partner relationship does not buy an editorial conclusion. Where a collaboration affects a piece or placement, the relationship is identified clearly.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. Include the relevant passage and a brief explanation. We review correction requests, amend confirmed errors and make the nature of a significant correction clear in the affected material.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid, supplied or otherwise partner-supported material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where used, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary evidence.
